A few more Halloween pictures including some fun gifts from Noni and Lito. Elan was super excited about the orange hat that Noni made for him as well as the dancing pumpkin. They won a gift card in the costume contest at a local restaurant, Schroder's.

Halloween fun! Elan was The Rock wrestler so that he could participate with his sisters to be the rock, paper, scissors game that his babysitter Hailey taught him this summer. We enjoyed carving pumpkins that we picked out at Trinity United Methodist pumpkin patch.

Last week we went out to Berry College--Elan loves to climb trees. This one was within his reach, near Barnwell chapel.

Elan enjoyed Chuck E Cheese, even though it was Ellery's birthday! He also enjoyed the cardboard box that one of her gifts came in--sometimes it is the simple things!

This is an example of Elan's creative mind. He brought the outside toy car inside the house and stuffed the whole thing with pillows and blankets from his bed. His sisters were helping. Every now and then the three of them can do a project without fighting and without someone getting hurt. They thought it was hilarious to have the car like this...until clean up time.

For Elan's fall break we went to Chattanooga to the children's museum with our friends the Fultons. The kids enjoyed the time with their buddies, and Elan especially loved the new exhibit that had climbing walls!

Elan's 6th birthday was a lot of fun. He had the choice of going to eat breakfast at a place like Ryan's (buffet) or going to have a picnic lunch at the Pocket. He chose the Pocket. I think it was most special that his cousins and family came along. We returned home to eat cake (ice cream Lego cake) and have a hunt with clues for one of his birthday gifts. He enjoyed the day!

Noni and Lito came to visit the beginning of September to help with daddy's 50th birthday party, and we managed a visit to Berry College grist mill and water wheel which Elan enjoyed. We also made a football goal at Home Depot that morning. Noni was a good helper!

Elan's first day of school was August 8th. Hard to believe he is going to real kindergarten where he is in school all day, every day. Although it is a much different place now, he was excited to be going to Glenwood where his daddy went as a child.

WAYYY behind on posting..back to Tijuana Mexico from July 14th to the 21st! Elan really enjoyed this year's trip and started speaking more Spanish than I have ever heard him speak. Guess it really is in his brain after all. Some favorite pics below...

always love the treats--suckers from Romina, Margarita, and Rebeca and ice cream from the stand
