Big day in Atlanta--Yesterday we went to Atlanta for my soccer game, and Elan came along. He is sporting his new hat--with a chin strap so he has to keep it on, and also he has on his new soccer outfit. You can't see the soccer ball on the butt, but it is cute! He was a pretty good boy during the game and afterwards at a restaurant.

Elan's first bike ride and sleeping picture:
Elan is still sleeping with his hands behind his head, but this only happens sometimes. He prefers his stomach most of the time now, so we thought we better capture one more picture while we still can. The rest of the pictures show his first bike ride in his bike trailer that we got for Christmas. At first he was puzzled, not sure what to think, and not all that happy. Later he just fell asleep and slept through it!

New swing--we will have to work on getting some closer pictures. You can't see his face in these. I took about 20 as it was! Anyway, this is Elan's new swing. In Georgia, spring comes earlier and we have been enjoying some nice weather and some time outside.This past Friday (March 9th), Elan weighed 18 lbs 3 oz. He also figured out how to scoot himself backwards using his arms if he is on a smooth floor (like our kitchen tile). He added lima beans and broccoli to his list of foods in the last week. He liked both of them.

SPRING FUN! Today was a beautiful day so we went outside to play. You can see that Elan's hat serves two purposes--keeping the sun out of his eyes and also making a great chew toy. He loves to go VROOOM with his car, as you can see in another picture. You will also see a picture that resembles his sleeping position--he seems to like putting his hands behind his head to sleep and to relax.

Elan has started a new thing where he sort of blows his lips. The first picture shows his lips together in this sort of position. He is also able to support himself pretty well as an indpendent sitter. # posted by Kirsten @ 11:14 AM

This is Elan's 7 month picture. You can see he is ready to crawl but can't figure it out yet. It is kind of far away, but that is the size we need to fit in his frame that shows pictures month by month.
