ELAN'S BIRTHDAY...
Elan turned 1-yayyy! Well, it is yayyy to the rest of us, even if he had no clue about it. On his birthday (the 28th), we opened some gifts that came in the mail from his friends the Kalany's, his great aunt and uncle in Florida, and his Aunt Erika. Then that evening we went to a pool party with his friend, Will Pethel. Today, the day after his birthday, we went to eat Sunday lunch at Dee and Pop's house. He ate some cake his mommy made, a healthy carrot cake with cream cheese icing. The rest of us ate peach ice cream. Then he opened more gifts. What a fun birthday!

Elan has returned from Tijuana, Mexico. They are not into stamping passports yet, but his daddy was able to get his stamped. He did very well, and he was a good boy considering all he went through. He slept about 9 hours each night which was shorter than usual, but at least he did not wake up a bunch of times in the night. These pictures show that the kids in Mexico loved him. They wanted to carry him around, go down the slide with him, etc. There is a picture of him in the sink because we didn't want him to drink the water so he bathed in the purified water in the kitchen sink. The last picture is our group picture. A fun time for mom and dad, and Elan survived!
