Chattannoga Zoo-On Monday the 19th we went to the Chattanooga Zoo for the first time. It was actually our first visit to a zoo. You will see pictures of Elan with Hunter and Kate, our friends. New van-March 25th, the same day their great grandmother died, we bought this new Mazda 5 van. Elan had been wanting a van, and he was excited. The other Ford Escort died--literally, so we got this and plan to keep it. I wanted to snap a picture of them hanging out the window. Don't worry--it was safely parked in the garage.

Elan's new swing--he insisted he needed a new swing that was not a baby swing, so his daddy made one for him. He needs to work on learning to pump his legs to move it!

First soccer "game" for Elan...Elan is playing soccer with the YMCA, and it is just four Fridays for 1/2 an hour. They aren't really having a game but really practicing skills. Two kids from his class at school are playing, along with his friend William (in the picture). He looks so cute out there!

Elan had an egg hunt with his preschool class, but after naps on Easter Sunday we hid eggs at home. He had a great time and was still excited. The best part was the chocolate inside the eggs!

Easter morning outfits for church--it is hard to capture Elan's smile these days since he does not look at the camera or smiles goofy, but we caught some that were acceptable.

Easter morning--an exciting basket from the rabbit as Elan calls him. He brought Mater two truck, Thomas the Train, some Curious George stuff, precious fruit snacks, soccer socks, and more.

Saturday, April 3rd--the night before Easter we opened gifts from Noni and Lito. Elan was excited about all the fun surprises he had!

Friday, April 2nd...we didn't try coloring eggs last year, but Elan enjoyed it this year. He won't eat the eggs so plenty for mom and dad, but he had fun doing tie dye eggs!
