Some more pics from Easter afternoon when family came over for an egg hunt. Thanks to cousin LA for most of the pics!

Sarah took Elan on a horse--a little strange to do this in our woods

We had to leave early for church on Easter, but we still managed to get a few pics of the kids. They cooperated better than normal, and these are the best of the ones we took.

Last year Elan kept saying the rabbit was coming, and this year he still thought of that. I thought he might be thinking Easter bunny this time around, but he was still waiting for "the rabbit". He was excited about his new Curious George hopping ball so he could hippity hop like a rabbit. He was also excited about the food items that mommy doesn't usually buy like colored goldfish crackers.

On Good Friday evening we decided to color some eggs. The kids chose a kit from Walmart where you spin the egg to color it. It worked pretty well and did minimize the mess. Elan really enjoyed it!

Elan and Ellery like to sing "Country Roads" with their dad. This is sort of funny!

Elan was very excited about the first egg hunt of the Easter season, an egg hunt our church had. He was watching them hide eggs and said that would help him to find the most! It was a cold day, but the property was beautiful! It was a fun event with lunch, crafts, and of course, eggs and candy!

Elan has been trying tball this spring. It is more of a practice-type situation where he works on throwing, catching, hitting, etc. Shorter University baseball players worked with them the first week, and this past week the fast pitch softball team helped them. The kids get a lot of one-on-one attention, and it is good practice for them. He seems to like it OK, though his attention span is short!
