Trick or treating-Elan really enjoyed going house to house. His Frosty boots must have gotten him tired because we didn't have to cut him off as we thought we might have to do. He got tired after quite a bit of walking and said he had had enough. He was awful sweet to walk with his sister. It was a lot of fun!
Seesaw--what a great daddy these kids have. Daddy built them a seesaw outside, and they had a blast!
One morning recently the kids woke up early, and I let them watch a few minutes of morning TV. Made for some great pics!

Halloween fun has begun! Saturday night we carved the pumpkin. Elan was in an especially good picture-taking mood (quite unusual for him) so he was posing on the mulch pile in the backyard and the slide while we were outside. Usually he can't make any kind of smile for a picture, so these pictures were really suprisingly good. Then yesterday Frosty the snowman made his debut for trunk or treat at New Armuchee Baptist Church. Thanks to an aunt who has good plans, a grandmother who can sew, and mom who tried to do the rest, we managed to make a costume he wants to wear! One picture of a banana ghost pop that will be used at his class party later this week is included. I had to do a test run to be sure it would work, and Elan enjoyed tasting it. Should be a fun week with many more parties and festivities to come!

Camping with daddy--Elan spent the weekend with his daddy near Clayton, GA camping. He had a blast and wanted to stay more days. It was not a time mommy wanted to hear about with them eating lots of meat, including deer and bear, and staying up late and running wild. Glad it was boy time!

Elan's last fall soccer practice/scrimmage. He is asking when he can play again. He got the hang of it better this fall than the spring!
