Dauphin Island, AL...we just got home from a week at the beach last week. Elan had a blast playing in the sand and the water. Some pictures below with comments before each one.

A rainbow we saw one morning...we actually saw two rainbows while there.

We buried Elan in front of his castle. Our rental beach house in the background.
It is hard to get a family picture, but we tried!

Noni and Lito were full of sorpresas (surprises), including this net that he thought belonged on his head.
Aunt Erika made Elan a beach birthday cake so we could celebrate his birthday--again.

Playing is hard work--Elan slept in the floor, and we had to snap a picture of his blanket around his head and the weird angles where he slept.
To top it all off, we had to get some Krispy Kreme doughnuts on the way home.
